Allison Howe
Alli Howe received her Masters of Public Health with the goal of building healthy communities. For over a decade she has worked with medical, education, and government organizations on health policy and programming. She has served on several boards, including formal appointments to complete a trails master plan and recreation sustainability. Before moving to Montrose, she was a city councilor for Fort Morgan and started a nonprofit to support rural recreation development.
She is a mother of 4 and the family loves to explore the Western slope together. You can usually find her on the river trail or at Holly Park.
She believes recreation is the best part of a community. Speaking of the Montrose Recreation District, "Its benefits extend far beyond health. It builds and unifies community. It supports a high quality of life and the local economy." She continued, "I'm grateful to live in a community that supports public access to recreation. I serve on the board to ensure recreation is within reach for everyone."
