Black Canyon Woodcarvers Group

Scrapbooking and Card Making Group

Do you enjoy scrapbooking and cardmaking? Join this new group for time to work on your own projects with fun, helpful, like-minded friends. Bring your own supplies and tools. All skill levels of papercrafters are encouraged to come. Help and Instruction provided as needed.

 This group meets Fridays, 8:30 -12:00 at the Senior Center. This is a drop in - no registration required.

 All Classes are Fridays, 1-3:30 pm. Cost: $40/per person/per class. Includes snack and soft drink. Registration is required, as class size is limited.

08/14    Peaceful Meadow.

Watercolor. Learn brush strokes and color mixing as you paint a peaceful meadow with trees on 9“ x 12” Cold Press paper using liquid watercolors and watercolor brushes. Step-by-step instruction. Freehand or template available. Everything provided.

09/11   Chapel and Lavendar bushes

 Watercolor. Paint a chapel with lavender bushes. Using the wet-on-wet technique on 9“ x 12” Cold Press paper, learn how to paint in loose, translucent layers with mop brushes. Step-by-step instruction. Freehand or template available. Everything provided.

10/16  Fall Foliage

Watercolor. Paint fall trees using the “tap and dab” technique with mop brushes, layering vibrant liquid watercolor on 9“ x 12” Cold Press paper. Finish leaves with flat brush “wiggle and twist” technique. Step-by-step instruction. Freehand or template available. Everything provided
