Cuba Discovery Adventure 

This immersive Cuba tour provides a rich and authentic way to learn about the lives of Cubans, while also sharing with them our perspectives on the world. Planned activities are intended to strengthen civil society in Cuba. Every day's program is designted to promote independence for the Cuban people and is complet with meaningful interactions.

Hawaii 3 Island Adventure

Holiday Lights Carriage Ride 

Experience the magic of the holiday season on a charming Christmas Light Carriage Tour! Snuggle up with a cozy blanket as you embark on a scenic ride through beautifully decorated streets, illuminated by twinkling holiday lights. Hear the soft clip-clop of hooves and enjoy the festive sights, from glowing trees to sparkling homes, all while sipping on your favorite beverage. We will end the evening with dinner at Endless Pastabilities.

Atomic Legacy Cabin 

The Atomic Legacy Cabin in Grand Junction presents the history of uranium mining and processing on the Colorado Plateau, as well as Grand Junction’s unique contribution to the Manhattan Project and Cold War.

San Juan Skijoring Festival 

Enjoy the exhilarating world of Skijoring, where innovation meets adrenaline on the snowy grounds of Ouray County. Get ready to witness a ground-breaking sporting event like no other that combines horseback riding and skiing and snowboarding.

The Appleshed in Cedaredge 

Expect the Unexpected! The Appleshed features a fine art gallery, along with unique shops ranging from handcrafted art and jewelry by 24 local western slope artists, to Sugar Mama’s bake shop, and Gazebo florist and boutique. Finish your visit with wine tasting at Williams Cellars Wine.

Eckert Crane Days 

Witnessing the lift-off, descent, and behaviors of sandhill cranes is an experience of wonder and delight. Each year cranes begin their journey at Bosque Del Apache in central New Mexico where they have spent the winter. Mid-march they head north to Monte Vista, CO., then to Delta County. They then glide over the Grand Mesa towards southern Idaho where they reach their breeding ground. Time, Date and Location subject to slight change based on migration patterns.

Pea Green Saturday Night 

Pea Green Saturday Night is about as close as one can come to a mid1950’s radio variety show performed in front of a live audience, the 4th Saturday of the month during the winter. The show features live music, followed by a potluck snack table, and finally a comedy show.

Mozart’s last opera to be produced before his untimely death at age 35 is a remarkable combination of musical and dramatics styles, from earthly to otherworldly. The story begins as a magical rescue mission, but soon transforms into a fable of enlightenment and humanity.

THE PHILIP SALEMBIER SENIOR FILM SERIES T his 1947 film tells the story of two homeless men who move into a mansion while the rich businessman owner winters in Virginia.

The Art Center of Western Colorado 

T he Art Center is considered a home and social hub for Western Slope artists and the art-curious. The five galleries host work by national artists and also feature the range and talent of our own Western Colorado  community.

Ouray Winter Wine Festival at the Wright Opera House 

T he Ouray Winter Wine Festival will be a warm and inviting event put on by Elevation Weddings and Events, Sauvage Spectrum and the Wright Opera House. This festival is truly unique in that strictly Western Colorado vineyards are being showcased as well as other local to the area businesses.

Grand Mesa Short Film Festival 

T he Grand Mesa Short Film festival showcases filmmaking talent from across Colorado. Aspiring filmmakers have created short films in the following categories: Documentary, Animation, Musical, Drama and Horror.

Active Adult Hikes and Snowshoe Trips

James Robb Colorado River State Park – Corn Lake Hike 

Hard packed trail around the Colorado river joins a paved trail continuing east along the river. Length – 4-6 miles. Difficulty: easy.

Dinosaur Hill Hike 

Dinosaur Hill began when Elmer Riggs – Curator of Paleontology began digging and unearthed nearly 2/3 of the fossilized remains of a Brontosaurus. This is a 1.5 mile long easy to moderate hike that will have views of dinosaur bones and excavation sites.

Exclamation Point Hike 

This 2.9 mile out and back trail is located in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park near Crawford. It is an easy rated trail with beautiful views and varied terrain.

Shavano Valley Petroglyphs 

Located just outside of Montrose, Colorado, Shavano Valley is one of the most picturesque and important rock art sites in western Colorado. The site was used from at least 1000 BCE to 1900 CE by both the Archaic and Ute peoples. Through the Ute Indian Museum, tours are offered and led by trained Shavano Valley Petroglyph Docent & museum Education Director, Kellie Carroll. Participants should dress for the weather. Moderate graded hike. Sturdy shoes or boots are ideal for the rough trail and steep slopes.
