I was born and raised right here in Montrose, Co. Growing up I spent most of my time outdoors and enjoying/ exploring nature and the outdoors. I always prefer to be outdoors over staying inside and I loved to ride my bike and hang out with friends. I got my first job at Walmart in 2020 during the pandemic and worked there till the end of the year. After Walmart I wanted to continue my education and eventually graduated from Vista Charter school in january 2023. After I graduated I began looking for another job and that's when I found the position with the Rec District for parks maintenance and I never looked back. I worked down at the parks for 8 months and that's when a full time facilities position opened and I didn't think twice. I can proudly say I've been working with the Rec District for over a year and I plan on continuing to make the Rec District a safe and enjoyable workplace!!
