Josh was born in Montrose, Colorado and played baseball and soccer with the MRD as a youth. He then went to play football, wrestling, basketball and track for Centennial Middle School, and football and wrestling for Montrose High School. Josh went Colorado Mesa University where he received his degree in Sport Management. He moved to Boulder where he worked projects such as the remodel of the Metro State sports complex and the Google hub in Boulder. He came back to Montrose in 2016 and shortly thereafter met his beautiful wife. They have 3 children together, two girls and one boy. They love to go camping and to be outdoors in the summer, especially going on fishing and hunting trips. The mantra Josh likes to live by is, live life to the fullest and don't let a small occurrence ruin a whole day.
