Lisa is from Colorado, born and raised in the suburbs right outside of Denver. Growing up a city girl she ventured to the mountain town of Avon in 2012 where she met her husband, John. She and her husband moved to Grand Junction in 2014 and then Montrose, where her husband grew up, in 2018 and she fell in love with the area. She and her husband have 2 daughters together, which between various sports and activities keep her busy. Lisa began working for MRD in spring of 2021 as the district’s Human Resources Generalist. She started her career in Human Resources back in 2015 working in retail, healthcare, and finally finding her niche in Parks and Recreation. Along with many years’ experience working in HR she is a SHRM Certified Professional.
