Lisa is a Colorado native, born and raised in the suburbs just outside of Denver. Originally a city girl at heart, she ventured to the mountain town of Avon in 2012, where she met her husband, John. The two later moved to Grand Junction in 2014 and eventually settled in Montrose—John’s hometown—in 2018, a place Lisa quickly came to love.

Lisa and her husband have two daughters whose various sports and activities keep the family busy and active. She joined MRD in the spring of 2021 as the district’s Human Resources Generalist. Lisa began her career in Human Resources in 2015, gaining experience across retail and healthcare before finding her true niche in Parks and Recreation. She is a SHRM Certified Professional and brings a strong foundation of HR expertise to her work.
