Liz grew up in Austin, Texas, but has lived in Montrose for almost 30 years. She received her BS degree from Texas A&M in Recreation and Parks Administration, and Liz also completed Master level studies in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Missouri. Liz has held supervisory/administrative positions at the state, county and city levels before joining the MRD. In her free time, Liz enjoys hiking, camping, snowshoeing, and taking photos in the great outdoors surrounding Montrose.
